Welcome Marieke ten Berge

We welcome back for the third time Marieke ten Berge. She is an award-winning illustrator from the Netherlands. Her book North has been sold in 11 countries.Her work last year on "Rana" about an arctic fox has been published in the Netherlands and also sold to other countries.

It's Marieke's mission to bring the beauty, and also the vulnerability, of the arctic to children. Her hope is that her books engender a love of the far North in all her beauty.

Marieke is also working with Norwegian artists Louise Rapley on an ongoing project "Observances."
