Welcome Liz Miller Kovacs

We welcome Liz Miller Kovacs, a Canadian photographer, installation, and performance artist working in Berlin. She will be working on her ongoing series Supernatural, in which she examines the earth's scars. She researches locations where industry has altered the terrain and documents her experience of these sites. The compositions echo Surrealism, while the context draws inspiration from the notion of the sublime in Romanticist paintings of the early 19th century. The figure also draws parallels between how our culture exploits nature and the objecthood of the feminine.
