Welcome Beili Liu

We are delighted to welcome Internationally renowned performance artist Beili Liu. In 2021-2022 Beili served as the first Fulbright Arctic Chair in the Arts, in collaboration with the Uit Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø. Her research centers on environmental and geopolitical transformations of the Arctic through the lens of labor, handcraft, and indigenous perspectives. While on Svalbard she will continue work on her ongoing Arctic projects begun in Northern Norway, culminating in an installation piece in late November.
