Welcome Kristino Rav and Juhan Vihterpal

We welcome Estonian performance artist Kristino Rav and her collaborator sound artist Juhan Vihterpal to the residency. They plan to continue their work on the performance/sound piece "Saga of the Fjords". They intend to use the physical body and natural sounds to capture the fragility of the landscape / the climate, the remoteness and beauty of the Arctic region. Vihterpal and Rav use site-specific recordings and mix the sound with live-performance elements as well as working with duration, movement and conceptual framework.
This new work would be also presented at the Riga Performance Art Festival.
