Welcome Kirsty Banks

We are pleased to welcome UK artist and set designer Kirsty Banks. She will be continuing her work in creating mixed media work using old maps and creating sketches and paintings related to the landscape of the maps. Her goal is to look at the the journeys people made to come to Svalbard as well as incorporating ideas of weather patterns and contour maps stitching made maps together incorporating monoprinting and field sketches within the work.
