Welcome Wendy Bayliss

We welcome Australian illustrator and story-teller Wendy Bayliss. Wendy will be working on her project, "Immersed." This will be an illustrated story made up of a collection of narrative drawings. It will focus on Svalbard’s unique location, how it sits at the very face of climate change in the Arctic and how the people are living with and working to solve climate challenges. This is a story of people and place. The project will look at the majestic beauty and wonder of Svalbard and the Arctic. The strength and the fragility. It will invite others in to experience the direct effects of the climate crisis on a unique and beautiful location, and invest them with a desire to create change. It will illustrate what could be lost, and what must be saved.
