Welcome Roberto Ghezzi

We are pleased to welcome Italian visual artist Roberto Ghezzi. He has been engaged for many years in researching the borders between art and science. His most well known work is is a technique involving the interaction of natural environments with fabrics and paper prepared with cyanotype chemicals. For "Polar Stream" Ghezzi's project on Svalbard, he intends to trace the melting of the ice and return a representation of the Arctic landscape by making sure that it is the phenomenon of the change in state of the glaciers that in transcribes itself in artistic terms. Ghezzi is supported by the Italian Cultural institute of Oslo and the Instituto Scienze Polari.
