Welcome Ty Holzman

We are pleased to welcome American researcher and writer Ty Holzman. Ty Holtzman is a master’s student in social anthropology at the University of Oslo. He is interested in the relationships between humans and animals, in particular large predators. In Longyearbyen, he is conducting fieldwork on relations between people and polar bears. Additionally, he is working on a creative writing project for the Oslo School of Environmental Humanities about the process of becoming intimate with landscapes.
